Stop placing The One that is everything outside of yourself

The Truth, Eternal Consciousness, God or Reality, most people have the idea that it is something mystical, which we then tend to look for outside of ourselves. Even when we know that it is not the case. When we know that It is everything and therefor also what we are

We have read about it in books or heard someone talking about it. We may have even experienced it ourselves. What we are left with is just a concept that we turn into something that is separate from who we are. As if It is a hidden mystery, like a sort of riddle that we have to solve. We look for signals and signs to come to the right code that opens the door to this mystery. We often are completely ignorant to the fact that it is everywhere around us. The chair we sit on, the person next to or opposite of us on the bus or at the checkout int the supermarket.

“No, that cannot be it”, according to our thinking. “That’s not special enough.” The me-mind is looking for experiences and evidence that are not of this world; it must at least be grand, exotic, and preferably ecstatic.

you are what you are looking for and what looks through your eyes into the world – the One that is All

Do you recognise this? If so, come back to yourself? Wonder what it is that looks through these eyes into the world. What is this looking?

After all, from the me-mind’s point of view, everything is about me and starts with me as in ‘I want … I don’t want … I think … I feel …’ and so on. Make use of that. What is it that looks when I look? What is it that hears when I hear? What is it that feels when I feel? Do not try to find It. Instead experience It by being It.

Now be the looking that looks, the hearing that hears and the feeling that feels. Be the experience instead of understanding the concept and thinking that it can be found in a future experience. Stop and look around you. Stop. You cannot think yourself out of it or into it. This is it! Here and now. There is nothing to understand about it. It is a stopping. Not as a form of doing. It is not a process. It is a complete and acute stop of granting reality to thinking and the feelings that come along with these stories of the me-mind.

Only then there is the experience of being it and seeing yourself in and as everything and everyone. Not your personality but your true essence. The Reality of what is always everything and everywhere. You can recognise it in and as everything. Everything you see is that what you are looking for: flowers, animals, plants, people, cars, trash, the graveyard, the sky and your very self.

"Stop and look around. Stop. You cannot think yourself out of It or into It. This is It! Here and Now."

The habit of mind is to make something out of everything which is then believed and causes you to overlook Reality. Likewise, it tells you that you are a someone confined to a body with a brain. However, what experiences your body, and the activity of your brain is The One. It is Life Itself. Infinite Reality looking into the world through your eyes seeing Itself reflected in everything.

It is Eternal Consciousness experiencing the experiences we refer to as “my experiences”. It is one and the same All experiencing life through all living beings. Through a cow, a tree, a flower, a human-being … also the neighbour you don’t like. It is also the fabric of things that are not alive, like: teapot, fabric, toilet, table, or painting. There is nothing inside or outside of Reality. There is nothing more than Eternal and Infinite Consciousness expressing Itself in temporary and finite form.

When this is understood on a deep enough level, then you know that you do not have to do it yourself. That you cannot even do it yourself. There is no you or me to live our lives. Our body and our brain are only an appearance. A phenomenon through which Consciousness experiences life which is Itself. So, you can constantly judge or comment on that what you call your life but that does not change what happens. It just makes the experience stressful and unpleasant. As a result, we miss the beauty and spaciousness of the experience while are living it anyway. With or without criticism. Criticism, which often is a form of resistance, guarantees an experience that involves some form of suffering.

The beauty is that when we experience life as an experience which is as it is, the experience becomes very alive and loving. If we then coincide with that, because what we truly are is that very same aliveness and love, our experience of life becomes of a completely different quality. A quality that is beyond the understanding of our mind.

The aliveness and love or our inner felt world and what is experienced as the outer world have come together as One. This means that the illusion of separation created by mind which divided life into an inner and outer world, a ‘me and the world’, has fallen away, temporarily, or for good. The circle of Truth and Love is complete: our inner and outer world are experienced as One in a dance that is free. A dance that dances Itself. The spell of resistance and separation is broken, and it is experienced that there is only the One.

A relevant question is:

How is it possible to want to experience Truth if we use a mechanism, the me-mind, that is an illusion?
